As a user of the work packages I would like to have most of the history of the work package hidden by default, because it causes a cluttered and hard to follow train of thought.
For example the attached screen shot is example of information that should be available, but not shown all the time.
I think a good paradigm would be to say “We hide everything whose end state is currently visible on the work package”. For example you don’t need to see that “Bob set the description”, because you can see the description. That information is only useful if you for some odd reason what to know who changed the description, that could be under the “History Details” or something. On the other hand, if someone adds a comment, that change is not visible in the work package, so it would be displayed by default.
