## Description

Just yesterday I (Wieland) saw how Reinhard Wimmer of TMM was not able to find the checkbox that disables the reduction of visible statuses per workflow table.

This made me think that the defaults should be the other way around: Instead of having complex workflows for all types, I propose that:

*   A type has statuses
* Unless you define an _Advanced workflow_ it is assumed that everybody in a project can change the status to any of these statuses. That would perfectly work with _Action Boards_
* If necessary, the status can be further configured in _Advanced workflow_
* And _Advanced workflows_ would benefit if the matrix would be mirrored at the diagonal per default, meaning, that a use can always undo a wrong assignment
* Only in a very advanced setting, you can disable the mirroring at the diagonal.

For me, this looks like mostly a UX challenge. We would not need to change anything complicated deep down in the backend, I believe.

Let me know, what you think
