### Steps to reproduce

1.  Create a meeting series with at least 2 occurrences (this does not happen with just one)
    
2.  Click on "open first meeting"
    
3.  Make sure to check "send email calender updates"
    
4.  Click on "open meeting"
    
5.  Look for resulting email in your mailbox
    
6.  Click on "Accept" to accept the calendar invite
    

### What is the buggy behavior?

*   Error: The changes could not be applied because a newer version of the appointment already exists.

### What is the expected behavior?

*   It should be possible to accept the meeting invitation
    

### Environment information

**OpenProject version**

v17.1.2

**E-Mail provider**

OX (Open-Xchange) 8.45.77 (e.g. mailbox.org)

(it seems to work fine with, say, gmail)
