This is the first part of a three part series about the technical details of themes in OpenProject. The first part will introduce the basics of creating a theme and making it available to OpenProject.

Right from the beginning the OpenProject Foundation (OPF) ensures that the participation in OpenProject is well governed. It establishes a framework in which the software can successfully be developed.

During the last months, we have not spread any news on OpenProject.org. But as you can see at the loads of issues, change histories and activity logs, we have been busily working on the development of the software and the project.

We are very happy to announce that we are just building up the OpenProject community. Companies, organisations as well as individuals already collaborate, share ideas and are involved in the decision taking.

OpenProject is a web-based open source project collaboration software. It is not new but it makes a difference.
